The Experience
Who are we?
Prison Island Grenoble is an indoor games and leisure facility including: a reception area, a bar, a relaxation area and 1200 m2 of play area with 28 cells containing challenges! Often confused with an escape game but completely different! In an escape game, you and your team generally have 1 hour 30 to explore a scenario based on reflection. At Prison Island Grenoble, it's a much larger play area with 28 cells containing 28 different challenges (physical, technical, intellectual). In addition, you are free to compose your course, to do and redo the challenges within the given time limits.
What does it consist of?
With your team, try to escape from as many cells as possible. In case of failure, you can renew your attempts, or try your luck in new cells. Some cells may require several attempts before winning all the points! And watch out, the general timer is running!
What is the goal?
Face the teams of the day, the week or the top 3 by winning a maximum of points! Each successful challenge allows you to earn between 25 and 100 points. Large screens, placed at reception and in the play area, will allow you to see your ranking in real time!
Do you need to be a great athlete?
Well NO! The prison challenges are suitable for everyone, from the age of 7. The diversity of the tests and the concept based on teamwork allow everyone to participate according to their abilities and desires. A challenge that you like less?! No problem, you can skip to the next one without being blocked and continue to earn points!
How to dress?
Plan comfortable clothing for light physical activity (sneakers, shorts and t-shirt). High heels are not allowed. A spare t-shirt may be desirable for those who want to explode the scores.
How to plan the activity?
The game duration is 1h30. Add about 20 minutes for registration and team briefing. After the game, additional time may be added for debriefing, scores and refreshments.
How many people per team?
Prison Island Grenoble can accommodate 24 teams of 5 people simultaneously. Ideally, for optimal playing comfort, teams of 3-4 people are recommended. The game is accessible to 2 people, only some challenges will be more complicated to achieve and you will not be able to claim the maximum points in some cells. All scenarios are possible and teams are configurable until the last moment at the checkout. Our team will guide you to the most comfortable solution. To respect the scoring, once the teams are launched, you must avoid mixing.
Where is the experience located?

Is the experience accessible to everyone?
Most challenges and part of the game are not optimized for wheelchair access (presence of stairs, steps, sets…). The reception/reception and bar areas are accessible. In several cases, we were able to help and adapt the game format to allow everyone to have a good time.

The game is done in teams, this allows you to follow your teammates at your own pace through the prison, to let the physical challenges that you don't think are achievable be done.
